Controller

The purpose of this role is to perform and support the higher risk standard Financial reporting and control activities required each month, quarter and year-end as well as supervise the execution of lower risk activities.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, collection, reconciliation, payments, tax forms, intercompany process, reporting etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with Global guidelines and official requirements
• Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly and annual closing
• Cash Flow management and analysis
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Participate in preparation for the annual audit and work with external auditors and advisors
• Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
• Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
• Supporting the formulation and implementation of control systems within the organization.
  
  

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Professional certification (CPA) - MUST
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting firm or a company as an Assistant Control.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew
• Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize, to work effectively and independently
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
