Assistant Controller- maternity leave cover

A successful, global SaaS Startup is looking for a talented Assistant Controller to join their finance department for a maternity leave cover.

Reporting directly to the Controller, you will take on a key role in a global environment, including close collaboration with international subsidiaries.

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days WFH) | Location: Petah Tikva

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and annual closing processes.
• Oversee and analyze financial reporting.
• Prepare tax filings and address global tax complexities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Drive process optimization and financial automation initiatives.
• Manage the annual audit process and interface with external auditors.

Requirements:

• CPA from a Big 4 firm – Mandatory.
• Experience auditing High-Tech/Startups – Mandatory.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and international taxation – Mandatory.
• High-level Excel skills and English fluency (written and verbal).
• Highly motivated, eager to learn, and career-driven.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
