Role Description

We are seeking a Project Accountant for a full-time, on-site role located in Omer, Israel. The Project Accountant will manage financial transactions and reporting for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing and maintaining budgets, monitoring project costs, generating financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and supporting financial audits. The role also involves regular coordination with project managers and other internal stakeholders to provide accurate, timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in project cost management, financial analysis, and budget control
• Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial systems; strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of U.S. Federal Government accounting standards and compliance policies is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Omer
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
• Experience in construction or infrastructure project accounting is highly desirable
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hebrew or other local language is beneficial
