Hands-on Software Development and Delivery Lead

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Haifa for Development Leads. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to project timelines. Key responsibilities include front-end and back-end development, programming, and troubleshooting to deliver scalable and efficient systems. Additional tasks include code reviews, system optimization, and applying best practices in object-oriented programming (OOP).

The successful candidate will onboard new team members, manage the tasks and assignments, mentor and take responsibility on successful projects completion, on time, budget and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and software development principles
• Hands-on experience in Desktop and Web Development, both Back-End and Front-End
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and familiarity with C# development
• Python, Angular, React, Matlab – a big plus
• Proven ability to design, optimize, and implement efficient software systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in developing and maintaining scalable enterprise applications is a plus
• Experience in leading development teams.
• Experience in development tools and environments, such as (but not limited to) Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Mantis.
• Experience in cloud platforms: Azure, AWS.
• Experience in project management methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile.
• Customer facing experience.
• Security clearance - a plus. Clearance will have to be issued during the employment process.
