This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Software Engineer, based in Haifa with the option for some work from home. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems that power Esentrix’s agentic commerce platform, including orchestration workflows, policy enforcement, monitoring/logging infrastructure, and personalization services. The role involves collaborating with product and AI teams, integrating external systems and APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability and security across production environments. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, improving system architecture, and contributing to engineering best practices and development processes.

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms and data structures
• Proficiency in backend web development, distributed systems, and scalable software architecture
• Experience building APIs, integrations, and backend services in production environments
• Familiarity with LLM-based systems, orchestration pipelines, and AI-driven personalization is a plus
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, version control, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
