Ready to join a global leader in renewable energy?
"Ormat" is a world leader in the field of renewable energy, an international company that plans, manufactures, builds and operates power plants that produce electricity from green energy sources.
🔧 What will you be doing?
- Leading the conceptual design of power plants and geothermal field systems
- Creating P&IDs, process control specifications, and defining process equipment
- Specifying control valves, instrumentation, and safety/relief devices
- Providing engineering solutions for process safety reviews (HAZOP, LOPA)
- Working closely with engineering, operations, and field teams worldwide
🎯 What we’re looking for -
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in process design (preferably in large industrial environments)
- Strong background in fluid flow, heat transfer, and energy
- Ability to lead processes, collaborate across interfaces, and think systemically
- Experience with process simulations, pressure drop calculations, and writing functional specs – an advantage
