Data Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced Data Program Manager to spearhead the establishment and ongoing delivery of a large-scale GCP Cloud Data Platform.

In this role, you will lead a comprehensive Data Lakehouse project, overseeing everything from initial planning and multi-year execution to budget management and long-term service excellence. If you have a background in the public sector and a deep technical understanding of cloud data environments, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of a multi-year Data Lakehouse project, ensuring seamless execution from setup through ongoing operations.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and monitor comprehensive work plans and Gantt charts to ensure all milestones are met on time.
• Financial Oversight: Take full ownership of budget management, including pricing, hour tracking, and profitability analysis.
• Performance & Quality: Define and manage KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics while proactively mitigating project risks.
• Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Continuously optimize workflows to enhance delivery efficiency and service quality.
  
  

• Project Management: At least 5 years of experience managing projects specifically within the Data and IT sectors.
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience managing data projects in a Public Cloud environment (strong preference for GCP).
• Technical Depth: A deep understanding of Data, DWH, Lakehouse, and BI architectures.
• Public Sector: Proven experience working with government or public sector clients.
  
  

• Financial Literacy: Demonstrated experience in managing high-budget projects and financial reporting.
• Delivery Management: Success in managing ongoing service delivery beyond the initial establishment phase.
• Methodology: Proficiency in executive reporting, risk management, and structured work methodologies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
