About The Job

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend orientation to join our engineering team. You will be part of a highly skilled group working on both our open-source project and enterprise offering, Odigos. Our stack primarily includes Go (backend) and Next.js (frontend), with extensive use of Kubernetes, so we're looking for someone proficient in these technologies. Developers today struggle to extract and deliver high-quality monitoring data. Building an observability pipeline is a slow, manual process that takes months, requires extensive code changes across multiple R&D teams, and demands tight collaboration.

Odigos eliminates this complexity with an open-source solution that automatically generates distributed traces for any application- without any engineering work. By leveraging eBPF technology, Odigos enables seamless observability, making it easier than ever for developers to gain deep insights into their systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain both backend and frontend components of our open-source and enterprise products.
• Work on backend development using Go.
• Build and enhance our frontend architecture using React and Next.js, including design systems and open-source contributions.
• Contribute to large-scale observability and telemetry solutions, working with OpenTelemetry and high-scale data pipelines.
• Engage with the developer community and contribute to our growing open-source ecosystem.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer.
• Strong expertise in backend development (Go preferred but not required, experience with modern backend languages is sufficient).
• Strong frontend skills in React (Next.js experience preferred).
• Experience in developing complex UI components.
• Experience in optimizing application performance.
  
  

• Proficiency in Go and Kubernetese.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and observability tools.
• Experience working in a cloud environment with microservices architecture.
• GraphQL experience is a plus.
