Intellectual Property Paralegal

Grapa Varieties, a global family business that breeds and commercializes new table grape varieties worldwide, is seeking a highly self-motivated and professional individual to join our IP Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the IP Portfolio under the guidance of our Head of IP Department.

Job Overview:

• Support and assist the Head of IP Department with all IP matters (including drafting and filing PBR and TM applications, oppositions, etc).
• Prepare and review documents according to general precedents or instructions.
• Prepare reports, which include gathering, analysing and summarizing data from the corporate records and database.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and spoken English at a mother-tongue level. Additional language(s) an advantage.
• Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; solution-oriented with the ability to think outside the box.
• Proactive and takes initiative; focused on continuous improvement.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; collaborative and able to work well with a wide range of people.
• Legal background/IP knowledge an advantage.

Full-time position, may include travel. We are looking for a long-term employee only.

The office is located in Or Akiva, easily accessible from the Binyamina train station, Highways 2 and 4.
