System Engineer for a defense company in Ashdod

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and validation of a complex System of Systems based on a multi-sensor autonomous platform and command & control (C2) systems — from solution definition and architecture, through detailed design, development, integration, and testing.
• Define requirements for system components.
• Write technical specifications, requirement documents, and design documentation.
• Analyze requirements and define system processes, logic, and interfaces between subsystems.
• Provide ongoing guidance to subcontractors and oversee deliverables.
• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team in a matrix environment.
• Plan and conduct design reviews and management reviews.
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized academic institution — required
• At least 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering / system specification — required
• Strong multidisciplinary systems thinking and understanding — required
• Experience with unmanned systems — advantage
• Maritime experience — advantage
• Experience managing subcontractors — advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and motivate teams
• High level of English proficiency
