A leading, fast-growing company based in Tel Aviv is looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer to join our expanding data & technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the architecture, pipelines, and data foundations that power business insights across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from a variety of sources (ERP, e-commerce platforms, APIs, files, etc.)
• Develop, optimize, and scale data lake and data warehouse environments (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or similar)
• Collaborate closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, analytics-ready datasets
• Implement and automate data quality checks, validation processes, and cleansing routines
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve pipeline performance, ensuring data reliability and availability
• Contribute to the standardization of schemas, documentation, and pipeline best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and working with structured and semi-structured data (CSV, Parquet, JSON, APIs)
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining pipelines using ETL tools or orchestration frameworks (e.g., ADF, SSIS, dbt, Airflow)
• Familiarity with modern cloud data warehouses such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally
• Bonus: Python or scripting experience
• Bonus: Experience with Azure or AWS, and familiarity with streaming tools
• Bonus: Background in retail or omni-channel data environments
