Gordon Academic College of Education, established in 1953, is dedicated to training teachers, educators, and students to address community and global challenges. Located in Haifa, Israel, the college offers recognized academic degrees, including B.Ed., M.Ed., and M.Teach, as approved by the Council for Higher Education (CHE). Gordon leads international teacher-training programs focused on promoting equality, democracy, and the rights of all individuals, including children, in Israel and beyond. This is a full-time hybrid role for Lecturers and Professors qualified to teach at the MEd level, based in Haifa with the flexibility to work remotely on a partial basis. Responsibilities include delivering academic lectures, preparing course materials and syllabi, mentoring students, conducting research, and participating in faculty meetings and college activities. Supporting students in their academic journey and maintaining engagement with current educational developments are key aspects of the role.

• Expertise in educational theory, pedagogy, and practice, with the ability to teach at the MEd level.
• Proven experience in preparing academic materials and conducting research in education or related fields.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to support and guide graduate-level students effectively.
• Proficiency in incorporating technology and innovative teaching methods into the educational environment.
• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Education or a related discipline, with demonstrated academic and teaching excellence.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
• Fluency in Hebrew and proficiency in English; experience in bilingual education is an advantage.
