Algorithm Engineer

A pioneering AI startup specializing in high-performance Embedded AI for edge devices. The company develops cutting-edge vision and perception technologies designed for low-power, real-time security and defense sensors.

By integrating deep neural networks with classic computer vision, their platform enables autonomous spatial understanding and decision-making on hardware-constrained devices.

Located in Tel Aviv (prime access to the train station), the company operates a hybrid work model (two days per week from home).

Role Overview:

• Researching and developing Computer Vision and Video processing algorithms from initial concept to full product integration.
• Designing deep neural networks for perception, spatial awareness, and autonomous decision-making.
• Implementing and optimizing ML/DL solutions for production environments using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Performing end-to-end system engineering to tailor algorithmic solutions to specific hardware constraints and mission-critical requirements.
• Manipulating large-scale datasets and utilizing statistical models to refine algorithmic accuracy and performance.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience in Computer Vision algorithm development – Mandatory.
• 5 years of professional experience in Deep Learning and Neural Network modeling – Mandatory.
• 4 years of expert-level proficiency in Python – Mandatory.
• Significant experience deploying ML/DL solutions in Production environments (using PyTorch/TensorFlow) – Mandatory.
• Proven background in data manipulation and advanced statistical modeling – Mandatory.
• Experience with Embedded AI or optimizing algorithms for edge hardware – Significant Advantage.
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field – Highly Preferred.
