Infrastructure Security Architecture & Security Engineer

Job Description:

Au10tix is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Security Architect & Security Engineer to join our security team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining security architectures and systems for our infrastructure. This includes cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. You will play a critical role in establishing security best practices, developing security policies, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infrastructure security, network architecture, cloud security, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain infrastructure security architectures for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
Ensure secure configuration and deployment of network devices, servers, and other infrastructure components.
Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and improve the overall security posture.
Design and implement cloud security architectures for platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Ensure secure configuration and management of cloud resources and encryption.
Design secure network architectures, including segmentation, access controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms to safeguard systems and data.
Implement security measures to protect against DDoS attacks, malware, and other network-based threats.
Work closely with IT, DevOps, and other teams to integrate security into infrastructure projects and initiatives.
Provide guidance and training to teams on infrastructure security best practices.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in infrastructure security architecture, security engineer or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security technologies.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Advantage: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
Advantage: Experience with security compliance and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
