Technical Product Manager

I’m hiring for a highly technical company building a complex, large-scale protocol at the core of an advanced distributed system.

This role sits at the heart of the company’s roadmap and requires deep technical understanding, strong analytical skills, a systems-level mindset, and outstanding communication abilities.

What will you do

• Lead decision-making processes around protocol changes and new features with internal and external stakeholders

• Define and write detailed, low-level requirements and work closely with engineering to ensure precise execution

• Analyze the protocol at a deep logical level to understand how changes impact the broader system

• Identify architectural challenges and ensure solutions align with long-term strategic direction

• Communicate roadmap updates clearly to stakeholders and collaborate with marketing on positioning and messaging

• Stay up to date with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the long-term protocol vision

What are we looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Algorithm Developer, or Architect

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Technical Architect

• Strong logical understanding of code, with the ability to read and analyze it to assess system-wide implications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

• Strategic mindset with the ability to understand long-term architectural implications

Nice to have

• Strong interest in distributed systems

• Experience or deep understanding of peer-to-peer systems, cryptography, or advanced mathematical algorithms

• Experience working with developer communities or open-source environments
