Network Software Team Lead

We’re looking for a Network Software Team Lead to take a central role in shaping the connectivity layer behind mission-critical drone and autonomous-system deployments. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who combines deep expertise in networking software with the ability to lead, mentor, and scale a strong engineering team. You’ll lead by example-building high-impact networking capabilities while driving quality, ownership, and fast, pragmatic execution.

You will…

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team (Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA), while staying deeply hands-on in architecture and development.
• Design and develop core networking software capabilities powering reliable, real-world connectivity.
• Take full ownership of features from definition through delivery, ensuring high quality from design to production.
• Make key technical decisions around network stacks, protocols, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Drive engineering excellence: code reviews, testing practices, observability, and clean interfaces.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other product teams to deliver cohesive systems.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in networking software development (not IT/network administration), including protocols, debugging, and performance considerations.
• 3+ years of experience leading a software team, with responsibility for execution, mentorship, and day-to-day delivery.
• Proven experience building production-grade software in a Linux environment, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in Python (preferrably), ideally within networking-focused products or systems.
• Solid understanding of Linux networking fundamentals, and how to build reliable systems around them.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a clear ownership mindset.
