Machine Learning Engineer

’m hiring for a profitable, early-stage algorithmic trading startup building automated, data-driven trading systems.

This is a full-time, on-site role, 5 days a week in the office.

I’m looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with 2–3 years of professional Python experience who is comfortable operating in an environment where problems are not always clearly defined, requirements evolve, and the “right answer” is discovered through exploration.

What will you do?

• Developing Python-based research and trading infrastructure

• Working closely with quantitative researchers on exploratory and production-grade systems

• Tackling open-ended problems where requirements may be incomplete or evolving

• Turning vague ideas into testable hypotheses and actionable tasks

• Debugging complex system behavior across data, logic, and models

• Making judgment calls on when to push deeper and when to pivot

What do you need?

• 2–3 years of hands-on, professional Python development experience, mandatory

• Strong orientation toward math, logic, and data-driven thinking

• Clear focus on machine learning, practical experience is a strong advantage

• Ability to handle exploratory, loosely defined tasks independently

• High ownership, initiative, and intellectual maturity

Strong advantages:

• Experience with pandas, NumPy, SciPy

• Experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch or similar ML frameworks

• Experience working with time-series data

• Experience with large datasets or research-heavy codebases

• Exposure to financial markets or trading systems, not required
