Payroll & Bookkeeping Specialist

A well-established international company located in the southern region of Israel, operating in a dynamic and global technology environment, is looking for a Payroll & Bookkeeping Specialist for a significant and combined role covering payroll and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Full payroll management for all company employees, including monthly payroll preparation, calculation of working hours, vacations, sick leave, overtime, recuperation pay, and more.
• Handling monthly reports to external authorities, including the Income Tax Authority, National Insurance Institute, pension funds, managers’ insurance, and provident funds.
• Managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including handling relevant forms (101, 161, severance release forms).
• Managing payslips, deductions, reimbursements, and employee credits.
• Monitoring personal and collective agreements, labor laws, and salary updates.
• Generating payroll reports and providing ongoing payroll-related data to management.
• Bookkeeping control, including bank reconciliations, credit cards, vendors, and customers.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for the CPA.
• Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.

Requirements

• Certified Payroll Accountant.
• Bookkeeping certification Level 3 or higher.
• At least 3 years of experience in a combined payroll and bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency in Shiklulit payroll systems (Michpal - advantage)
• Strong knowledge of Israeli labor laws and tax regulations.
• High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of organization, accuracy, personal responsibility, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent English.
