About The Team

monday.com Foundation’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) is hiring an Emergency Response Manager.

ERT is a specialized, execution-first team within the monday.com Foundation. We deploy when emergency response operations are not yet functioning — when roles, processes, and coordination are unclear, and organizations need to stand up systems immediately.

This role is for a field operator. You will deploy to active emergencies to help humanitarian organizations turn fragmented, unstructured response efforts into clear, decision-ready digital systems — fast. Your responsibility is to enable operation.

Field deployment is mandatory.

About The Role

• Deploy globally to active emergencies (≈50% travel), often in the first days of response.
• Enter unstructured environments and rapidly identify key decision-makers.
• Translate complex, messy operational needs into simple, effective solutions.
• Ensure systems actively reduce friction and enable real-time decision-making for responders.
• Track deployment outcomes and operational impact.
• Support pre-activation readiness.
• Contribute to the development of field-ready solution kits intended for immediate deployment at the start of a response.
• Contribute field-based insights and case studies based on execution.
  
  

• 4+ years of experience in humanitarian aid, emergency management, or high-pressure field operations.
• Direct experience operating in disaster or crisis environments.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to create order under pressure.
• Proven ability to work across NGOs and partners without formal authority.
• High autonomy, execution bias, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Experience implementing digital tools or operational systems.
• Strong monday.com experience is a major advantage.
• Willingness to deploy frequently (~50% travel).
• Fluent English required; Spanish or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
