Senior Software Engineer

The investing world is evolving quickly, and Blink is expanding our R&D team. We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer to build scalable, high-performance systems that power our next-generation trading platform.

This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about clean, efficient code, loves solving complex technical challenges, and wants to work in a fast-moving, impact-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Integrate with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure robust data flow and reliability
• Work with modern tools and environments such as Kafka, GCP, Kibana, and Linux
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes for scalability and resilience
• Participate in architectural discussions and help design systems that scale globally
• Monitor, debug, and optimize backend performance

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing backend systems with Node.js
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) – strong advantage
• Familiarity with tools/environments like Kafka, GCP, and Kibana – advantage
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes – strong advantage
• Experience with system design and software architecture – advantage
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Team player with strong communication skills, curiosity, and a drive to build things that matter

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech or other high-scale, data-intensive environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and observability tools
• Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
