SW Team Leader - C# / .NET

One of our clients, a fast-growing technology company in the financial services sector, is looking to hire a Software Development Team Leader to lead a critical team focused on third-party lender integrations.

The company provides innovative solutions in the realm of consumer financing, enabling real-time, flexible credit options through a dynamic digital platform. Their technology connects end-users and merchants to a diverse ecosystem of financial institutions, facilitating seamless financing experiences at checkout.

As the Team Leader, you will guide a team responsible for integrating lending partners into the platform and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of those connections. This position combines leadership and hands-on development, with a strong emphasis on backend architecture, cloud-native services, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend developers.
• Architect and build scalable, microservices-based systems.
• Own and drive end-to-end integration projects with global lending partners.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders across the company.
• Ensure the high quality and performance of deployed services.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• 5–8 years of backend software development experience.
• Expertise in C# and .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and system design.
• Experience working with MongoDB and cloud environments (preferably GCP).
• Familiarity with third-party API integrations.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work with international teams.
• Strategic mindset with willingness to dive into code when needed.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in fintech or financial API integrations.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (especially React).
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools.

Company location: Central Israel, hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 remote), within walking distance from public transportation.
