Communications System Engineer

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a relevant field.
2. Master’s degree in Systems Engineering – an advantage.
3. At least 3–5 years of experience in system engineering of multidisciplinary systems including RF, SW, HW, and FW.
4. Proven experience leading system-level projects with significant software components – mandatory.
5. Deep understanding of software architecture, software interface management, API definitions, and communication protocols – a significant advantage.
6. Ability to define and configure operating interfaces, user interfaces (UI/UX), and software–hardware integration capabilities – advantage.
7. Experience with RF radio systems.
8. Experience in system architecture design.
9. Experience with wireless communication systems – advantage.
10. Ability to lead development processes with SW/HW/FW/SV teams.
11. High technical capability and strong system-level perspective.
12. Ability to quickly learn complex technological topics.
13. Team player with strong interpersonal communication skills.
14. High-level technical English – both written and verbal.
15. Knowledge and experience working with RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer).
16. Valid security clearance – an advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading and managing the system development process for communication systems – from requirements phase to customer delivery.
2. Responsibility for the project’s technical management and serving as the technical POC for the customer.
3. Defining system and functional requirements, specifying software interfaces, and managing development processes.
4. Writing system, design, and test documentation – with strong emphasis on software definitions, architecture, and integration.
5. Conducting design reviews: SRR, PDR, CDR, and others.
6. Participation and leadership in system integration processes, including software and hardware testing.
7. Hands-on technical support, including troubleshooting, software testing, and communication testing.
8. Working with customers in Israel and abroad, including providing technical support and guidance.
9. Ongoing work interfaces with all internal departments in the company.
