Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Hebrew Linguist to support AI and language technology initiatives. The role involves linguistic data annotation, quality assurance, and refinement of language models to ensure high linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Hebrew linguistics, strong analytical skills, and experience working with AI-generated content and prompt-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate linguistic data and support grammar development tasks for AI and language models
• Process, analyze, and resolve annotation defects raised by field annotators
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues in linguistic annotations and datasets
• Evaluate, refine, and maintain linguistic annotation guidelines and best practices
• Monitor data acquisition, data quality, and data curation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Create, review, and validate AI-generated responses to ensure linguistic correctness, clarity, and cultural appropriateness
• Generate and review AI-related, multi-modal prompt responses with a strong focus on accuracy, relevance, and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve linguistic workflows and AI output quality

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
• Strong understanding of linguistic concepts, including phonetics, syntax, semantics, and language analysis methodologies
• Native-level or near-native proficiency in Hebrew, with excellent written and spoken skills
• Meticulous attention to linguistic detail, including pronunciation, grammar, idiomatic usage, and subtle language variations
• Strong understanding of cultural context, social norms, and non-verbal communication associated with the Hebrew language
• Familiarity with linguistic annotation tools, data labeling workflows, and quality assurance processes
• Strong familiarity with prompt engineering and AI response writing
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting quality and productivity standards
