C++ Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced C++ Engineer to join a team building high-performance Linux software for a complex, multidisciplinary system that combines AI components, hardware interfaces, and sensor data.

This is a hands-on role with real impact on system performance, reliability, and scalability, working close to both software and hardware layers.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ services and libraries on Linux
• Take ownership of the build system, working with CMake targets, toolchains, and presets
• Improve build speed, reproducibility, and developer experience
• Profile and optimize CPU, memory, I/O, and multithreaded workloads
• Debug complex concurrency and performance issues
• Write unit and integration tests, and use sanitizers and static analysis tools
• Contribute to CI pipelines and internal developer tooling

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience with modern C++ (C++17/20), including STL, templates, and multithreading
• 2+ years of Python development experience
• Strong background in low-level programming and debugging
• Solid experience with CMake (or equivalent build systems)
• Strong software engineering practices: Git, code reviews, testing
• B.Sc / B.A in Computer Science or a related field
• A true team player with experience delivering production-level systems
• Availability to work from the Haifa office 4–5 days a week

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time systems involving both software and hardware
• Familiarity with performance and debugging tools: gcc/clang, gdb, perf, valgrind, sanitizers
• CUDA or OpenCL for GPU acceleration
• Dependency management with Conan
• Python for tooling, testing, or bindings (e.g., pybind11)
