VP Marketing Operations & AI Transformation

The Marketing Team at yad2 plays a central role in driving growth across Israel’s leading digital marketplace. We operate at the intersection of creativity, data, and technology, leveraging best-in-class tools and strategies to reach millions of users across verticals such as Real Estate, Automotive, Re-commerce, and Jobs.

The Challenge

As yad2 transitions to a verticalized structure, our Marketing HQ is evolving into a professional Shared Services hub. We are looking for a powerhouse VP Marketing Operations to be the architect of this new era.

Your mission is to build the operational backbone of the department: bridging the gap between marketing, product, and R&D, establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE), and leveraging AI to ensure our professional teams (Brand, Growth, CX) and Vertical Managers operate at peak efficiency.

What you will be doing

• Tech & Data Focal Point: Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and the Product, Data, and R&D departments. Translate marketing requirements into technical specs and ensure marketing's needs are prioritized in the high-level roadmap.
• Infrastructure & Project Management: Lead large-scale, cross-functional technological projects—from implementing advanced MarTech systems to integrating data pipelines that fuel our growth engines.
• Process Engineering & Playbooks: Build and optimize the "Way of Work" between Shared Services and Verticals. Develop Playbooks and structured workflows to ensure consistency, speed, and high-quality execution across the board.
• Center of Excellence (CoE): Establish a hub for knowledge sharing. Ensure that "Best Practices" discovered in one vertical (e.g., Motors) are documented and seamlessly scaled to others (e.g., Real Estate).
• AI & Automation Roadmap: Lead the AI transformation. Identify, test, and deploy AI-driven automations that eliminate manual work and create smarter, data-led marketing cycles.
• Operational Excellence: Own the departmental budget, resource allocation, and vendor management. Ensure the marketing "machine" is lean, fast, and measurable.

Your skills and experience

• 8+ years of experience in Marketing Ops, RevOps, or Product Operations in high-scale tech companies.
• The "Translator" Ability: Proven experience acting as a Focal Point for R&D, Product, and Data teams. You know how to talk "API" and "Sprint" as well as you talk "CPA" and "LTV".
• Project Management Pro: Expert in managing complex technical projects and infrastructure deployments (CRM migrations, CDP integrations, etc.).
• Process Architect: A passion for building order out of chaos. Experience in creating organizational Playbooks and structured work methodologies.
• AI & Automation Expert: Deep hands-on experience with AI tools (LLMs, Generative AI) and workflow automation (Make/Zapier) to drive efficiency.
• Strategic & Analytical: Ability to look at the "Big Picture" while diving deep into the data to identify bottlenecks.
• Leadership in Matrix Organizations: Experience working in (or building) a Shared Services model – advantage.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
