A leading, advanced technology company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a key role in the Manufacturing Engineering team, specializing in electro-mechanical systems.

Role Overview:

Full engineering responsibility for supporting manufacturing processes, improving yield and quality, and providing engineering solutions to complex issues arising on the production floor. The role involves working with product development processes, multiple interfaces, and offers broad impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing engineering support for production lines and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct failure analysis at the product level and identify root causes.
• Address quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Design manufacturing support fixtures and tools.
• Train and guide production line operators.
• Maintain engineering documentation in PLM systems.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Manufacturing, and Quality departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Experience with precision machining and/or mechanical assembly.
• Experience in failure analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in the defense industry or with quality standards – advantage.
