Mechanical Engineer for an Elevator Design position.

For a strong and well-established company located in central Israel, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an Elevator Design position.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design of elevators for new projects, including adaptation to shaft dimensions, loads, and special requirements.
• Preparation of technical drawings and submission to relevant departments (Sales, Execution, Service, Logistics).
• Coordination with Hyundai factories in China/Korea to examine manufacturing options and special adaptations.
• Providing engineering solutions to on-site challenges.
• Engineering support for Sales, Service, Execution, and Logistics departments.
• Review of elevator drawings provided by Hyundai and adapting them to Israeli project plans.
• Working with the Israeli Standards Institute on product file validations and modifications.

In the future, there may be an option to combine the role with Sales Engineering, including accompanying sales teams from an engineering perspective, translating project specifications into cost estimations, and more.

Requirements:

• Experience in elevator design – mandatory.
• Education: Mechanical Engineering Technician or Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience with AutoCAD – an advantage.
• High-level English – mandatory, including ongoing communication with overseas manufacturers.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple interfaces in Israel and abroad.
• Teamwork skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Creative thinking, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail.
