DevOps AI Infrastructure Engineer

📍 Northern Israel | Large Defense Organization

We are looking for a DevOps AI Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading defense organization in Northern Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Project Onboarding: Support Development and Data Science teams throughout the onboarding process to the GPU farm — from requirements definition to full production deployment.
• Docker Image Development: Build and maintain complex Docker images optimized for GPU workloads (NVIDIA Docker, CUDA, etc.), aligned with organizational standards.
• Ongoing Operations & Management: Manage and operate GPU clusters on OpenShift, including performance monitoring, resource allocation, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Resource Optimization: Implement and manage scheduling and workload orchestration solutions (e.g., Run:ai) to maximize utilization of high-cost GPU resources.
• Automation & CI/CD: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment of ML models and work environments.

Requirements:

• Proven OpenShift experience: Strong expertise in cluster management, deployments, storage, and networking within OpenShift (or very high-level Kubernetes experience).
• Docker expertise: Hands-on experience writing complex Dockerfiles, managing multi-stage builds, and optimizing image sizes.
• Strong Linux background: Deep understanding of Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu), including kernel-level knowledge and driver management (with emphasis on NVIDIA drivers).
• Automation experience: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
