Head of Development / Local Team Lead JB-4814

We are actively expanding our development organization to support and scale a fast-growing, multi-brand iGaming platform. We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Head of Development to lead our local engineering team and take full ownership of platform delivery as we transition from a vendor-built solution to a fully in-house operation.

This role combines technical leadership, architectural ownership, and hands-on development. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery across all development verticals while supporting platform expansion and new brand launches.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the local development team, acting as the primary technical authority

Own backend architecture and ensure seamless frontend/backend coordination

Drive the transition from vendor-managed systems to full in-house development

Plan and execute agile development cycles with predictable delivery

Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders

Oversee development of core iGaming platform components, including wallets, bonuses, CRM logic, and affiliate systems

5+ years of professional software development experience

Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js and PostgreSQL

2+ years of experience leading technical teams

Solid understanding of React-based frontend development and frontend/backend integration

Mandatory iGaming experience, including:

Bonus and promotion systems

Wallet and payment logic

Affiliate tracking and flows

CRM and player lifecycle logic
