What You Will Be Doing

• Building and maintaining deep expertise in education product development to inform strategic choices
• Creating technical specifications that resolve critical architectural decisions and emphasize simplicity, operational efficiency, and sustainable design
• Deploying generative AI capabilities to automate and optimize engineering workflows, supporting the organizational goal of minimizing manual intervention

• Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, holding ownership of foundational competencies and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Significant experience or demonstrated interest in data-driven learning science
• 7+ years of experience driving critical architecture and design decisions on software initiatives, including application of architecture design patterns or adoption of major open source technologies
• 2+ years of experience making design decisions that involve cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
• 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery accountability for a revenue-generating product
• Proven track record building product features that leverage advanced Generative AI capabilities
• Experience applying Generative AI to streamline and simplify operational processes

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
