System Validation Engineer

BATM is a global technology group, publicly traded in London and Tel Aviv, operating through three divisions: Networking, Cyber, and Diagnostics. The Cyber Division develops advanced encryption technologies, including Layer 2 data-in-transit protection powered by Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). It delivers next-generation network security products and secures critical infrastructure with high-performance, hardware-based encryption solutions.

We are currently seeking a System Validation Engineer (entry-level) to join our Cyber Division.

About the role:

We are looking for students in their final year or recent graduates (B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science) to join our validation team and help ensure end-to-end quality of a high-performance cybersecurity product.

You’ll work hands-on across the full system: hardware device, FPGA/embedded software, and the management platform (EMS) used by customers.

This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone who enjoys seeing the whole system work-debugging, testing, and connecting the dots between hardware, firmware, networking, and software.

Responsibilities:

• Run end-to-end validation of the product: device + embedded/firmware + FPGA datapath + EMS.
• Write and execute test plans (mostly manual at first), document results, and support release readiness.
• Test performance and stability (throughput/latency, long runs, stress).
• Investigate issues using logs and reproduction steps, and work closely with R&D to drive fixes.

Requirements:

• Students in their final year or recent graduates (B.Sc. in EE or CS).
• Strong English communication skills (written & spoken).
• Strong system thinking, curiosity, and a hands-on mindset.
• Comfortable using Linux (terminal, logs, basic networking).

Nice to have:

• Networking basics (TCP/IP, packet flows), embedded/Linux familiarity, or any exposure to FPGA systems.
• Python scripting.
• Interest in cybersecurity / cryptography concepts.
