An excellent opportunity to be part of a global holding group with diverse activities in Shipping industry (the core of the business), Hi-Tech, Real Estate etc. The person in this position must be organized with a great eye for detail, ability to analyze reports at high level, reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously, and have good collaboration and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform reviews and controls over the work of the bookkeepers.
- Assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial statements on a quarterly basis according to IFRS
- Assisting with the preparation of solo financial statements on a yearly basis
- Assisting with the preparation of tax reports according to the Israeli regulations
- Preparation of management reports and other reports as required
- To do controls and analytical analyses before the closing of the reporting period
- To maintain and manage the presentation charts in the ERP system
Qualifications
- B.A in Economics and Accounting - must
- CPA
- Internship at a big 4 accounting firm
- Maximum one year of relevant work experience
- Knowledge with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Well-Knowledge with Tax regulation (Israeli and International) - advantage
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel)
- Fluent English – writing and speaking
- Experience in the maritime sector - an advantage.
