Development Manager – Digital Platforms (Banking Environment)! (5369)

What you’ll do:

• Lead and manage end-to-end development for the bank’s digital assets (websites and mobile applications).
• Own the overall development lifecycle – from requirements and architecture to delivery and production.
• Manage and mentor development teams (internal and external), including task prioritization and performance.
• Oversee CI/CD processes and ensure implementation of automated testing and DevOps best practices.
• Work closely with product, architecture, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Ensure system scalability, stability, and security in line with business growth.
• Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies and digital capabilities.
• Take responsibility for timelines, budgets, and delivery commitments.
• Supervise QA, UAT, and production readiness processes.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in digital development, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership/management role.
• Proven experience managing web and mobile development teams.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and modern development methodologies.
• Experience with microservices-based architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development (Scrum/Kanban); Waterfall familiarity is a plus.
• Hands-on background in QA and UAT processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

Bonus points:

• Technical background with React, React Native, Node.js, .NET Core, Kafka, Redis, and DocumentDB.
• Previous experience in banking or financial systems.
• Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors.
• Ability to bridge business needs with technological solutions.
