Head of Data Management

One of our clients, an early-stage B2B SaaS startup based in Tel Aviv, is looking to hire a Data Lead to found and lead the data domain.

This dynamic company focuses on turning complex cloud usage and cost data into meaningful, actionable insights for businesses. With strong funding, initial design partners, and an experienced team in place, they are now building their data infrastructure and strategy , and need someone to take full ownership from day one.

What You’ll Do:

• Build the entire data function from scratch , including infrastructure, modeling, automation, and analytics.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market teams, and executive leadership.
• Develop customer-facing data insights that drive product value and support sales efforts.
• Create internal dashboards and tools that support fast, data-informed decision-making.
• Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities hidden in the data to support strategic growth.

What They’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, Data Lead, or in a similar role — ideally as the first data hire in a startup.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience using Python for automation and deeper analysis.
• Someone who enjoys full ownership and building systems the right way from the start.
• Strong communicator who can turn data into strategic narratives and product direction.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, or distributed systems.
• Understanding of SaaS metrics, unit economics, or FinOps principles.
• Experience working directly with customers and shaping data products.
