Senior AI Product Manager

Airis Labs transforms user-generated content into actionable field intelligence for government agencies worldwide. Our platform empowers frontline analysts with multi-modal AI tools that extract clarity from chaos - enabling rapid insight across fragmented, unstructured media.

We’re looking for a passionate Senior AI Product Manager to join our product team. You’ll shape our core product capabilities, work with highly technical AI and engineering teams on mission-critical, real-world deployments.

This role sits at the intersection of AI research, product delivery, and real-world operational use. You will own core AI capabilities end-to-end - from early discovery and experimentation to production rollout under real customer constraints. Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong technical judgment, and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs between model quality, speed, cost, and operational impact.

What You’ll Do

• Own one or more core AI capability domains end-to-end, defining the roadmap and production-ready quality bar and driving AI features from ideation and data strategy through pipeline requirements and production deployment.
• Translate customer, market, and business needs into clear AI product strategy and requirements, working closely with customers and business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and measurable impact.
• Partner closely with AI researchers, ML engineers, data teams, and data annotators to guide AI development and make informed trade-off decisions across accuracy, latency, cost, and scalability.

Qualifications

Must Have

• 4+ years of product management experience.
• Hands-on experience working with AI researchers, ML engineers, and data teams.
• Strong understanding of ML concepts, model lifecycles, and production trade-offs.
• Proven ability to ship AI features into real customer environments.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• AI-native product mindset, with hands-on experience using modern AI tools for prototyping, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.

Strong Plus

• Experience with video intelligence, computer vision, STT, NLP or multimodal systems
• Experience in government, defense, or other regulated environments
• Familiarity with ML experimentation and evaluation tooling
• Technical background in software engineering or data science
