Opmed.ai is a rapidly growing healthcare AI startup helping leading health systems optimize their operations. Our platform is already in use at major health systems and large networks such as Mayo Clinic and Geisinger, and we are backed by world-class funds including NFX and Grove.

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our product team and help design clear, efficient, and scalable experiences for healthcare operations. This role focuses on strong execution, thoughtful UX decisions, and high-quality UI for complex, data-driven workflows in a fast-moving startup environment.

You’ll work closely with product and engineering to turn real operational problems in healthcare into intuitive software used by operational teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design product features and workflows from early concepts and wireframes to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff.
• Translate complex healthcare operations requirements into clear, usable, and efficient user experiences.
• Design for data-heavy interfaces, including dashboards, tables, forms, and multi-step workflows.
• Use and contribute to the design system to ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility across the platform.
• Produce clear, pragmatic design deliverables that support fast development cycles and iteration.
• Work with vibe coding to prototype design concepts.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience in UX/Product Design.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong UI execution and solid UX fundamentals across web-based products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows and information into intuitive interfaces.
• Strong UI craft: layout, hierarchy, typography, spacing, and visual clarity.
• Experience working with modern design tools and vibe coding tools.
• Comfortable working in an iterative startup environment with evolving requirements and short delivery cycles.
• Ability to execute independently on scoped work and collaborate effectively with product and engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing healthcare, operations, or internal tools.
• Experience with analytics, dashboards, or data visualization.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
