System Engineer

Analyzes failure rates, RMA processes, and fleet health.

• Role Summary: Own the physical health of the fleet from deployment to decommissioning. Engineer processes for maintaining liquid-cooled racks, managing RMAs, and ensuring data security during retirement.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize workflows for hardware break/fix in liquid-cooled environments.
• Analyze fleet failure trends (MTBF) and work with vendors to reduce defects.
• Manage "Secure Wipe" and decommissioning for high-value assets.
• Oversee inventory and spare parts logic for critical components (H100s, NVSwitches).
• Key Requirements:
• Experience: Data Center Operations, Hardware Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Specific Skills: Hands-on experience with Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) manifolds and CDUs.
• Process: ITIL certifications or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool experience.
• Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot complex physical interconnect issues and thermal throttling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale data center or hyperscale environments
• Familiarity with PLM systems, BOM management, and change control processes
• Understanding of hardware reliability concepts and field failure analysis
• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or technical operations workflows
• Experience working in customer-facing or managed services environments

• Ability to work in data center and lab environments as required
• Ability to lift and move equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
• Willingness to support off-hours work or on-call rotations as needed
