Economist

A leading retail company is hiring a Senior Economist.

This is a full-time fully onsite job near Netanya.

Job description and areas of responsibility:

• Professional responsibility and leadership of the team of economists (not direct management)
• Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Producing reports and analyses to support business decision-making.
• Building, managing and controlling monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.
• Analyzing trends, data and economic indicators and drawing operational conclusions.
• Working across multiple interfaces in a dynamic and changing environment.

What is required?

• Bachelor's degree in Economics/Business Administration - required.
• Experience in a senior economist position - required.
• Preparation and analysis of profit and loss reports - required.
• Experience in a retail company - a distinct advantage.
• Experience working with ERP.
• Experience with BI tools - a significant advantage.
• Full control of Excel at a very high level (advanced formulas) – mandatory.
