QA & Automation Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and mentor a QA team of 5–7 engineers, including 3–4 automation engineers and 2–3 manual QA engineers

* Maintain a 50% hands-on role, actively contributing to test development and framework enhancement

* Own the QA strategy and execution across all product lines, ensuring high-quality releases

* Guide the team in best practices, including test design, code reviews, and high-level documentation (HLDs)

* Develop and evolve the automation framework, ensuring scalability, stability, and security

* Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle

* Ensure alignment with CI/CD processes and release pipelines

* Proactively identify quality risks and define mitigation plans

Requirements:

* 10+ years of experience in software development and/or automation architecture

* 3+ years in a leadership role managing both automation and manual QA teams

* Strong experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) and modern DevOps tools

* Proficiency in Python and strong understanding of software design principles

* Hands-on experience with Linux environments, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), and automation frameworks

* Proven track record of building and scaling QA processes in agile environments

* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team management skills

* Fluent in English (written and verbal)
