Operations & Finance Manager (Startup | Full or Part-Time)

NovoDia is an EdTech startup building curriculum infrastructure for K–12 districts. We’re hiring an Operations & Finance Manager to fully own operations, finance, people, and compliance, with room to grow into broader operational leadership as the company scales. This role is an individual contributor role with full ownership, not people management.

What You’ll Own

• Finance ops: AP/AR (incl. collections), invoices, receipts, expense enforcement, budget vs. actual
• Payroll & people ops: Israel + US (via PEO), PTO, benefits, onboarding, offboarding
• Contracts & vendors: agreements, renewals, changes, coordination with legal
• Investor relations: data room, due diligence

You will work directly with external bookkeepers, accountants, auditors, and legal counsel.

Success Looks Like

• Payroll, payments, contracts, and compliance run correctly and on time
• Nothing falls through the cracks
• These areas operate end-to-end without executive oversight
• Things are quiet, predictable, and correct

Who This Is For

• Hands-on ops / finance / people operations experience
• Comfortable with money, contracts, and admin details
• Experience in high-tech environments, preferably startups
• Highly reliable, structured, and outcome-oriented
• Owns execution end-to-end without reminders

• Office Manager
• Early-career “learning” role
• Strategy or program management
• A people-management or team-lead role

Requirements (Must-Have)

• Excellent written and spoken English (daily professional use with US-based partners)
• Residing in the Haifa area, with availability for in-person meetings

Work Setup

• Full-time or part-time (minimum 60%)
• Primarily remote, with periodic in-person meetings in Haifa
• Some availability required during US working hours

Compensation

• ₪15,000–₪18,000 gross per month, depending on experience and scope
• Full-time or pro-rated for part-time
