Our platform supports multi-currency wallets, card issuing, FX services, and cross-border payments, and we recently obtained our own Mastercard issuing license.

About the Role

This role covers the full spectrum of financial operations at LAYA and is designed as a hands-on, analytical position within the finance operations team. You will work at the intersection of day-to-day financial execution, monitoring of the company’s financial performance, and identification of operational and risk-related issues. The role combines ownership of core financial processes, close tracking of transactional flows and margins, and ongoing interaction with real-world payment activity. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and Risk to ensure LAYA’s financial engine is accurate, controlled, and scalable.

What You Will Do

• Support day-to-day financial operations across payments, balances, and multi-currency flows

• Monitor and analyze transactional activity to ensure financial accuracy, margin integrity, and operational consistency

• Track key financial metrics and profit drivers, identifying deviations, inefficiencies, or emerging risks

• Support liquidity operations by executing transfers, monitoring balances, and ensuring currency-level correctness

• Perform analytical reviews on financial and operational data, producing insights and summaries for internal stakeholders

• Investigate irregular transactions or operational anomalies and work with relevant teams to resolve them

• Assist with periodic financial reporting and internal analyses for the finance team

• Work hands-on with LAYA’s financial systems, dashboards, and operational tools, taking ownership of defined workflows

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in financial operations, finance analysis, payments operations, or similar analytical roles

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work comfortably with numbers, transactions, and financial data

• An operationally oriented analyst who understands how financial performance, operational flows, and risk signals connect

• High attention to detail alongside the ability to see broader financial and operational patterns

• Familiarity with the payments ecosystem, card issuing, or fintech environments is a strong advantage

• Relevant academic degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field – an advantage

• Fluent English (spoken and written) – required

• High level of ownership and comfort working in a hands-on, execution-driven environment
