Role Description

INTENSITY GLOBAL is establishing a cutting-edge Algorithmic Research Unit in the domain of Visual Intelligence, focused on extracting and maximizing insights from EO and SAR-based sensors using advanced AI and Deep Learning methodologies.

We are looking for a Team Lead / R&D Manager with deep expertise in AI and Computer Vision, who will play a key role in shaping the vision, defining the architecture and applications, leading research and development efforts, and driving engineering and strategic decisions for advanced algorithmic solutions.

What you will do?

• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of AI and Computer Vision engineers.
• Lead and oversee end-to-end R&D projects, from concept and design through implementation and deployment in visual intelligence research environments.
• Design, train, optimize, and fine-tune deep neural networks as the foundation for visual data processing solutions.
• Drive cross-disciplinary research and development, including interfaces and integrations with customers, management, product managers, and development teams.

Requirements & Experience:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience managing multi-disciplinary algorithmic teams, delivering SSL / ML / DL solutions to production.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying Computer Vision solutions, including Generative Models and Transformers.
• Hands-on experience in training and optimizing models for object detection and classification.
• Experience implementing solutions that incorporate GenAI and RAG, with a focus on language analysis technologies.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art AI technologies, including Agents and LLM-based systems.
• Experience delivering solutions in resource-intensive environments, using modern architectures (Cloud and On-Prem).
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead proactively, solve complex problems under pressure, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
