HiCenter Ventures, is an investment fund dedicated to promoting and accelerating technological entrepreneurship in the city of Haifa. The fund invests in breakthrough startup companies that choose to establish their core operations in Haifa and supports them throughout their growth, investor connections, and the development of a meaningful competitive advantage.

We are looking for a portfolio and business development manager to support our companies and drive strategic collaborations across the local and global innovation ecosystem.

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with portfolio companies, supporting them with budgets, business models, pitch decks, and strategic materials
• Lead business development and strategic partnerships for portfolio companies, with a focus on commercial and strategic connections in Israel and internationally
• Build and manage partnerships with corporates, innovation bodies, academic institutions, and international organizations
• Identify opportunities for strategic collaborations, co-investments, pilots, and value-added activities
• Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with partners, while building structured workflows for collaboration
• Monitor market trends and ecosystem needs to identify new opportunities
• Work closely with the investment team and management to support deal flow and investment activities

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized higher education institution in Israel, or from an international institution recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Education. [Mandatory]
• At least 3 years of cumulative experience within the past 7 years in business development, project management, partnerships, or investments. [Mandatory]
• High-level proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. [Mandatory]
• High level of motivation and initiative, ability to work independently, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience in market analysis and preparation of presentations.
• Familiarity with advanced technology sectors and DeepTech.
• Strategic thinking, initiative, and strong independent work capabilities.
• Experience working with funds, international investors, or global corporates.
• Background in entrepreneurship, investments, or corporate innovation.
• Deep familiarity with the startup ecosystem in Israel and internationally.
• Experience working with senior executives, investors, and strategic partners.

Experience in venture capital, startups, or corporate innovation is a strong plus.

Important to note: the role is based in our Haifa offices and requires full on site presence.
