The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Counsel to join our fast-growing team and play a critical role in enabling our commercial and operational success.

This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, supporting a scaling company in the digital asset and fintech space, and managing legal matters end-to-end while coordinating with external specialists when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing legal support to a growing fintech startup across all business activities, with exposure to digital asset regulations and blockchain technology applications
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts with institutional clients, supplier agreements, partnership deals (payment companies, OTC desks, exchanges, asset managers), and service agreements
• Support go-to-market, sales, procurement, and operational teams with pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice for international business activities across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enable business growth while managing legal risk in a regulated fintech environment
• Coordinate and manage external legal counsel with specific expertise (e.g., regulatory compliance, IP, privacy, employment, digital asset regulations), as required
• Support regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions, including financial services regulations, data privacy (GDPR), AML/CTF requirements, and emerging digital asset frameworks
• Assist with internal policies, compliance processes, and risk management frameworks
• Identify legal risks proactively and propose practical solutions aligned with the company's growth stage and business objectives
  
  

• Israeli-qualified attorney (Adv.) with 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth tech company is mandatory
• Strong background in commercial law, particularly B2B contracts and enterprise/institutional client agreements
• Experience supporting growing companies and fast-paced business environments
• Familiarity with blockchain technology, digital assets, and crypto regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiCA, AML/CTF for Virtual Asset Service Providers, FATF Travel Rule) will be a strong advantage
• Experience or strong interest in fintech, financial services regulations, or working with institutional financial clients.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to involve external legal experts for specialized matters
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders across different cultures and regions
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Practical, business-minded approach with high attention to detail and comfort navigating ambiguity in emerging regulatory environments
