Role Overview

The Field Technician supports Theator’s hospital deployments by ensuring our units remain online, healthy, and recording.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of deployed systems in hospitals and operating rooms. The work follows clear procedures and checklists and involves close coordination with hospital technicians and internal teams.

No academic degree is required. We are looking for someone practical, reliable, and comfortable working in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site support and maintenance visits in hospitals and OR environments
• Monitor deployed units and follow up on offline or non-recording units
• Troubleshoot common operational issues (power, cables, basic configuration)
• Coordinate with hospital staff to restore service quickly and professionally
• Maintain clear documentation and unit status updates
• Support installations when needed (software setup and physical setup)
• Participate in on-call operational support
  
  

• Units remain online and recording consistently
• Issues are identified quickly and resolved with minimal disruption
• Hospitals experience reliable, professional technical support
• Unit status and documentation are always clear and up to date
  
  

• No degree required – technical orientation and basic computer skills
• Comfortable following documented procedures and checklists
• Strong attention to detail and organized work habits (tracking, documentation, follow-up)
• Calm, clear communication in high-pressure environments
• Ability to prioritize when multiple issues occur at the same time
• Flexibility for mixed hours when needed (early mornings or evenings) and participation in on-call
  
  

• Experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance roles
• Experience working in hospitals or other complex environments
• Familiarity with basic video cables or signal troubleshooting
• Good English communication
