Linux System Administrator

abra professional services is seeking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to join a classified defense-related project. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining computing solutions for complex command-and-control systems in a dynamic and heterogeneous environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Deployment and maintenance of computing solutions for complex command-and-control systems
• Troubleshooting customer issues both on-site and in project laboratories across multiple locations
• Providing fast and flexible solutions for users working in complex, multi-environment development systems
• Writing technical specifications, procedures, and operational documentation
• Integrating with interfacing systems and platforms
• Working in a dynamic and heterogeneous production environment
• Full on-site position at the company’s offices in Holon (not a hybrid role)
  
  

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Linux-based operating systems
• Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory / Domain environments
• Strong understanding of operating system processes
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
• Experience setting up Domain Controllers (DC) and creating and deploying Group Policy Objects (GPO)
• Experience installing and managing digital certificates (Microsoft CA)
• Experience managing virtualized environments (VMs) – VM creation, network configuration, snapshots
• Familiarity with NetApp storage systems – an advantage
  
  

• Ability to integrate into an existing IT team with strong self-learning capabilities
• Position requires security clearance (candidates without clearance may undergo the classification process)
• Valid driver’s license (Class B / 02)
• Willingness to work non-standard hours when required
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple sites locally and abroad
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
