ZyG is revolutionizing eCommerce with the first Agentic Growth Engine for DTC brands - an end-to-end platform that helps product inventors and entrepreneurs turn their products into successful D2C businesses. The Engine addresses the three key challenges of DTC eCom success - poor product bets, lack of scale infrastructure, and the need for often-complex financing.

With a connected system of AI Agents built on a unified data infrastructure, the Engine analyzes product-market fit before launch, replaces the fragmented tools, agencies, and manual workflows that typically power eCom growth, and offers the financing needed for DTC scale.

The Role

We’re looking for an AI – Automation & Integrations specialist to design, build, and own the automation backbone powering ZyG’s internal operations and portfolio brands.

This is a highly hands-on role at the intersection of AI tools, APIs, workflows, and business logic. You’ll turn manual, fragmented processes into scalable, intelligent systems and help connect ZyG’s Agentic Growth Engine with the tools and platforms that power modern DTC businesses.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows across internal systems and third-party tools (CRM, marketing platforms, data tools, eCommerce platforms, AI tools).
• Lead integrations between AI agents, internal data infrastructure, and external services using APIs, automation platforms, and custom logic.
• Work closely with product, growth, operations, and data teams to translate business needs into robust automation architectures.
• Own automation projects end-to-end: requirements, implementation, testing, monitoring, and iteration.
• Continuously explore and evaluate new AI tools, automation platforms, and integration patterns that can improve ZyG’s efficiency and capabilities.
  
  

• 1-2 years of experience building automations, integrations, or internal tools, ideally in fast-paced tech, startups, or operations-heavy environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data flows, and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with automation platforms (e.g., Make, Zapier, n8n, Workato, or similar).
• Comfortable working with AI tools and LLM-based systems, and integrating them into real-world workflows.
• Able to think in systems and processes, not just individual tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on ambiguous problems.
• Clear communicator who can collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

• Scripting or coding ability (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for custom automations.
• Experience designing agent-based or AI-driven workflows.
• Prior experience scaling automation in a startup or high-growth environment.
