Gen AI Product Manager

Wiliot was founded by the team that invented one of the technologies at the heart of 5G. We are looking for a GenAI Product Manager to join our AI organization and play a critical role in executing Wiliot’s GenAI and Physical AI initiatives. This is a highly hands-on, execution-focused role, sitting at the intersection of GenAI, data platforms, and ambient IoT.

You will work closely with engineering teams to turn ideas, strategies, and architectural direction into clear technical stories, tasks, and deliverables - and make sure they get shipped. While product strategy will evolve over time, the core of this role is getting things done: driving execution, removing friction, and ensuring complex technical work moves forward with clarity and urgency.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the technology, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to work on deep, difficult problems at the frontier of Physical AI and GenAI.

Responsibilities:

• Own the Product Roadmap: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of product features related to Wiliot’s data-driven products.
• Sprint Management: Oversee agile sprints, ensuring alignment between engineering teams and other stakeholders on timelines and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, product managers, and business teams to ensure features align with both technical and business needs.
• End-to-End Ownership: Take full responsibility for the product lifecycle, from ideation through to delivery and iteration.
• Drive Timely Delivery: Ensure the delivery of roadmap features on time, managing risks and adapting to changing priorities.
• Communication: Regularly update leadership and stakeholders on project status, roadblocks, and successes.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in a highly technical environment, ideally working with data-driven products, IoT, or AI.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced startup mindset, embracing rapid iteration, continuous change, quick product releases, and experimentation, with the ability to reset and rebuild when necessary.
• Strong experience leading and working with data products, including data layers (packets, events).
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Experience with agile methodologies and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
• Ability to take ownership and deliver results independently.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with leadership.
• Ability to handle pressure and provide clear, direct communication in high-stakes situations.
• Experience with AI-driven products (e.g., ChatGPT, chatbots) or applied AI technologies is a plus.
• Exposure to machine learning models, data science fundamentals, or knowledge of Python is highly desirable.
• A passion for IoT technology and the ability to think creatively about solving real-world problems.
