As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and maintaining software that powers the bank's core financial logic—where reliability, precision, and performance are paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and validate robust financial logic and testing infrastructure, primarily using Python.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to team members.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to transform ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications.
• Work with the team to establish and promote a culture of quality and engineering excellence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring solutions are delivered effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python or a strong understanding of a similar hashmap-heavy dynamic language (e.g., JavaScript, Ruby, Perl).
• Experience working on product cores, engines, or infrastructure software is a strong advantage.
• Experience in environments with a low margin for error (e.g., embedded systems, medical applications) is a plus.
• Exposure to highly regulated industries such as fintech or medical systems is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with AI. Claude is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with event streaming and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
