Manufacturing Process Engineer

Uvision is looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our production and industrialization team.

Job Description:

• Design, define, and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes for advanced electro-mechanical defence systems

• Lead industrialization and production readiness for NPI programs

• Translate R&D designs into robust, repeatable, production-grade processes (DFM/DFA)

• Define process documentation: flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, and SOPs

• Improve yield, cycle time, and throughput using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC tools

• Specify and implement tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and semi-automated stations

• Support process validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)

• Investigate production issues, perform RCA, and drive corrective actions

• Work closely with Engineering, QA, Supply Chain, and Production teams

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical / Industrial / Aerospace / Mechatronics Engineering or similar

• 5+ years of experience as a Process / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer

• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and precision integration

• Experience in regulated, high-reliability industries (defence, aerospace, UAVs, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA methodologies

• Experience with CAD tools and production documentation

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English

Nice to have

• Experience with defence systems, munitions, UAVs, or EO/seeker integration

• Familiarity with MIL-STD, AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR, or NATO standards

• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt)

• Experience with MES/ERP systems and automated production lines
